I am grateful everyday for the practice of yoga. Yoga has been a part of my life since I was 22 and it always feels like coming home.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
During confinement I finally had the time to bring back an almost daily yoga practice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It brought me back to myself, to my essence, to my truth.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was my sanity during lockdown and my practice once again was strengthened.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was reminded at how big a place yoga plays in my life, in my heart and in being able to connect with my true self and the world around me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After things started going back to normal these past few weeks, and I got crazy busy with work, with life and with seeing friends, I stopped making time for my regular yoga practice. I felt it mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I felt the void in my life. I’d lost the connection to what really matters & to simplicity. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And this week I came back to my practice, my gratitude and my joy. My mental & emotional health improved, my physical body feels much more balanced & aligned. I feel happy & positive again which I’d lost a little with the re-calibration of this ‘new normal’ & and all these powerful eclipses and other astro changes happening. Not going to lie ... I had a few emotional melt downs these past 2 weeks. 😩
